Magic Mirror is the type of game that impresses, and it does it in such a way, that an entire series follows after it, as a result of its success. Merkur has released several other slot machines over the years, which follow in the footsteps of this medieval and magic themed game. Don’t go in expecting the best graphics around, it’s not a plus for this series, but there will be other things that will give you a reason to stick around.

They designed Magic Mirror as a slot with 5×3 reels, which use 10 lines. You get them active with bets of $0.10 to $20, and they in exchange can give you a chance at prizes of up to $100,000 (5,000x the stake). It’s that kind of high potential that makes this game fun for players, at least for the ones that are not too risk averse, since it does have High volatility as well. Other things to mention, would be the presence of a 95.94% RTP, or the use of features such as wilds, scatters and free spins with special expanding symbols.

It’s a game with a fantasy theme, with magic and medieval castles both present on its reels and in the background. The game is a bit on the older side by now, so the dated graphics are understandable.

There doesn’t seem to be anything special about Magic Mirror. As far as Book of Ra clones go, I’m glad that we’re spared the use of the usual Ancient Egypt theme at least, but Magic Mirror doesn’t give us anything unique here. Still, if you’re a fan of the Book-style slots, the gameplay and top payouts here will be as solid as in every other release of this type.
